UncleB - We know that law enforcement investigated bomb threats. It's fairly easy to track the originating source of an email back to the email hosts server. While a person can try to mask their location via a proxy service, the email servers (whether IMAP or POP3) are going to have fixed IP addresses. The government can easily track the servers location. The email host can also track down the individual user, although a proxy can make that more difficult. As far as DeWine's comments on eating pets, do you have any new information on this? Or, are we still relying on the "I talked to the mayor" as his investigatory basis? There have been some "alternative media" that has visited Springfield to actually interview residents, although I haven't seen any evidence of national media actually visiting with people there and knocking on doors. Gov says the threats were hoaxes called in from over seas. This thread will stay open long enough for those blaming Trump or the Right to apologize Please, keep it up as long as possible. I'll admit that I am wrong for where the rumors originated. But will you admit that the rumors that Haitians were eating pets were also false? I mean considering this is the same Republican Governor who said those exact rumors were unfounded, which is the whole premise behind this discussion that has been going on since last Thursday. Or is as stargate said in another thread, is DeWine "a scuzzy politician" who shouldnt be trusted? Sounds like you have a few choices here.
1. Admit the rumors of Haitians eating pets magnified by trump were false, because DeWine said so. 2. Not believe politicians ever, as they lie all the time. 3. Believe DeWine now, but not a few days ago. Deflect, deflect, deflect. It's all you do. |
