I thought debate fairly even. Doubt this changed anyone’s mind because it is BP debate, but Vance is such a superior debater than old man Trump. Republicans should ask Dementia Donald to step down.

Vance won.
Dominated on immigration, the economy, energy, and national security.
Walz was better than expected.
Handled the 2A question better than most on the left.
Vance did a much better job of defending the Trump record than Walz did of attacking it.
Walz had no defense at all of the Harris record.
Lowlights for Walz: lying about being in China and trying to explain the insanity of the Harris "housing plan" (every portion of which would drive costs higher).
Lowlights for Vance: refusing to say who won the 2020 election and failing entirely to point out the DEMS are engaged in a massive conspiracy to jail their political opposition when Walz gave a huge opening to do so.
Equally disgusting lowlight: both pandered shamelessly on government provided baby sitting.

Wrong, take the first question to Walz which was about Israel and whether he would support an attack on Iran that absolutely a bery challenging question especially for a Democrat. Then later he was asked about his time in China. Meanwhile, no discussion on Ukraine where Walz could have attacked Vance for his refusal to support Ukraine and Trump unwilling to even say if he wants Ukraine to win. |
