I go there because the Cards and Blues Forums get more action than over here. The entertainment Forums, too. Although they're slower than they used to be. Funny that the deadest Forum, Pet Talk, is still there. But you can't even mention anything NFL, even in Battlehawks Talk without it being deleted. Even if you slap an OT on it. Yeah, Blues and Cards is why I'm there, and I'll visit SoccerTalk while I'm there. SoccerTalk was a vibrant forum a decade ago, before the first purge came. Anyone around that long will remember RSDavis, a libertarian guy who was caught up among the first purges He started the StLTomorrow board for the refugees. It petered out and died, however. I think this place has legs since the Old Country has banned political content. Anyway, one poster began dominating SoccerTalk (and SLUTalk, too, I hear) with inane, short, needlessly argumentative posts and almost killed it. There were days when you could go in and find that the last response to every thread was by the same person. A handful of us decided it was nice to have a St. Louis soccer board so we colluded in not responding to "Nobody" and getting conversations started again. The World Cup helped, St. Louis SC helped, and then when MLS came a knockin' the board was useful again. Since the MLS season ended, however, "Nobody" is back to his old tricks. Hope he fails again, and I sure won't respond to him. Lacucaracha wasn’t much help either. They’d flood EVERY thread with dumb non-exchanges. Rosthol had some neurosis to have the last post under every thread and then the other dipshit would apply a stupid comment like “Nobody thinks… blah blah blah” Completely useless individuals |

You're talking about the one that the board editing function eventually turned his original handle when someone referred to him as it into "He Who Shall Not Be Named"? It was especially annoying because they’d completely reshuffle the deck. The latest news would sink to the bottom of the page and weeks old news would promptly get pushed to the top, but without any relevant updates, just those two blithering idiots not-responding but responding to each other. The biggest reason the Soccer forum (and likely SLU forum) wouldn’t gain traction was because any person attempting to look at the content would either see a bunch of nonsensical responses on older, dead topics or would get pulled into nonsensical responses by one of those two idiots. Very similar situation woud happen on NFL Talk where actual topics that were interesting would get shuffled around why 3-4 losers would spam w/Cameron DaSilva fluff pieces that never gained any traction. However, you’d see SpamBile and 49YOW9R flood the forum multiple times a day, often creating multiple threads with the same article just to push relevant and more interesting topics off the front page. Interested in Fantasy Football, updates around the league including major NFL news like the Deshaun Watson Scandal or Henry Ruggs Vegas car accident that tragically killed a young woman? Too bad, here’s two fluff pieces about a third string punter who also holds for the backup kicker on the LAms, and then 4-5 older fluff pieces bumped from pages 5-6. Mrdastupider tried to join in the fray, especially when we were nearing the climax of the St Louis Lawsuit against the NFL. So, then you had three idiots posting Cameron DaSilva fluff pieces all while the failed guidance counselor posted images of SoFugli and the banners being taken down from the Ed Dome rafters. It’s unconscionable how lame that group was. Quite literally, SpamBile would post ANY thought from Cameron DaSilva and at regular time intervals throughout the day and the failed guidance counselor created multiple (4-6 at a minimum) accounts to interact with himself all to gang up on people. Such a loser. |

I can probably place him in the forums, not sure what the original SN was but I'm guessing someone knows, all the way back to the early days of Beev. He used to do the exact same shit in CA. His character played Conservative and he would just spam and spam and argue right wing talking points with no real point other than to annoy others. He started slowly in the sports forums but over the years he carried his act there. I think Bernie was probably one of the only ones to ever ban hammer him. It was one of the true head scratchers as to how someone that obviously a troll was never taken out to the garbage. Even if he was that rothsol name has been around forever as well. |
