Doing all the right things now. This is the team we all wanted to see. Goldy heating up, Winn possibly an all-star, Gray pitching like a number one, Helsley leading the league in saves. Lots of good stuff. Let's hope the Hyde personality doesn't rear it's ugly head. LOL

Lots of good stuff. Let's hope the Hyde personality doesn't rear it's ugly head. LOL Not nearly enough pitching depth. Not nearly enough offense in the outfield. Problems the astute fans all saw in the spring. The team needs a 25+ HR player in RF or LF and they don't have it. A middle of the lineup corner OF bat that they somehow thought they didn't need. They also need another good starting pitcher at the top of the rotation and they don't have it. -43 run differential. Have they been above .500 yet this season? Yes, a nice streak here. Some decent teams and some lousy teams in the 12 games.

They aren't as good as the streak would indicate but they aren't as bad as they had shown up to this point either. They don't need to be great, just good. Young guys improve, veterans regain at least some form that they had. Solid if not spectacular pitching. And a much improved bullpen. You can be glass half full or half empty. If I didn't think they could improve, I wouldn't watch them. Not a lot of teams are going 10 - 2 right now.
