Trump sends vetting paperwork to the following potential VP candidates:
• Florida Sen. Marco Rubio
• Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance
• S.C. Sen. Tim Scott
• N.D. Gov. Doug Burgum
• Florida Rep. Byron Donalds
• New York Rep. Elise Stefanik
• Doctor Ben Carson
Interesting that 2 FL people are on the list
Burgum is the safest pick. He isnt going to steal the spotlight or make waves.

Keep an eye on Youngkin and Cotton. Trump is an expert as misdirecting the media.

Burgum is a successful businessman and former governor (like Pence). In 2016, he supported John Kasich for President. That doesn't really seem to be MAGA but opportunist. Of the list, it seems that Vance is the best candidate, followed by Donalds or perhaps Stefanik. Little Marco was originally a pro-amnesty (he was part of the "Gang of 8" senators) globalist Senator who supports never ending wars. Remember, whoever is the VP candidate will be the era apparent in 2028 to continue promoting the America First agenda (with NeoCon Nikki returning as a career politician)...

To me the pick has got to a person that can be President on day one. Not because I'm worried about DJT not being able to finish his term (although I wouldn't put it past one of the leftist crazies to take a shot at him) but because this VP need to be able to take the reins when he becomes President in four years. I look at this list and I like a lot of them but only one comes close to that and it's Burgham. I like Byron Donalds a lot but he has had serious legal problems (not the BS the Trump has been subject to) that will be a big problem. He is also a little young politically to be the VP. He also was a Democrat until 2010. The media will have a field day with him. I could definitely see him as Chief of Staff. I like Tim Scott but I don't think he's a serious/tenacious fighter (same with Ben Carson). He could be the DHS head. Elise Stefanik, I don't dislike her but she's very young. She needs a cabinet position because she's going nowhere as a Rep. From NY. There is no US Senate seat for her. Maybe Education Secretary. I still wish DeSantis was in the mix. Is Mike Pompeo interested in the position? We need a strong America First running mate that will push and fight for the agenda in the terms following Trump's (which DeSantis is the only one that has proven that he will actually do it).

Florida Sen. Marco Rubio - by far the best of the bunch, strong debater, is being a Florida resident an issue. I think he would need to resign from Senate and move from state.
• Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance - smart, radical, most MAGA but would turnoff independents
• S.C. Sen. Tim Scott - best at kissing Trump’s butt which helps. Not a strong debater, and he will lose to Kamala in a debate, but will not embarrass himself. He is likeable and will help with black vote, but will Trump lose part of his white supremacist supporters.
• N.D. Gov. Doug Burgum - normal guy kind of boring. Rich may be able to help fund campaign. Not a strong debater, and he will lose to Kamala in a debate but will not embarrass himself.
• Florida Rep. Byron Donalds - this is a joke, right?
• New York Rep. Elise Stefanik - sold her soul to Trump probably will help with women.
• Doctor Ben Carson - boring, not sure he will get serious consideration
I think in the end Burgum or Rubio

To even suggest that anyone with a 6 grade education would lose to Kumala is absurd. 3-squirts has zero credibility (or intelligence) on this or any topic requires common sense or intellect.

Pompeo seemed to be a good Sec of State and loyal to the administration, although he has ties to the "Deep State" for many years -- both in United States House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and later as the Head of the CIA. Wasn't he part of the reason that we still don't have all of the JFK assassination records made public?

Also, there has been no mention of Vivek Ramaswamy as an option.

Also, there has been no mention of Vivek Ramaswamy as an option. Good. He's not ready for that type position. Some cabinet place or even press secretary.

Tulsi Gabbard destroyed Kamala's 2020 Presidential hopes in a primary debate, and that was Kamala having to defend her own record of sleeping to the top. Putting Kamala on stage to defend the indefensible -- Joe's record -- is like a moth to the flame. Whoever Trump picks, he needs to make sure his VP candidate is fully onboard with America First policies and not another RINO. After all, his VP will be the leading candidate to replace Trump in the 2028 election. He doesn't need another Judas Pence or Paul Ryan type VP candidate.

My issue is that he is young and wants to jump to the top right away. He needs to get into Congress or a Governorship first.
