I read that. He's required to to that. After the hearing, I'm sure that he'll conclude that "there's no there, there..." It's a rigged trial. He's not going to do anything to risk the "guilty verdict" being questioned until AFTER the November election. Edit: It should be sufficient to declare a mistrial, but that won't happen. |

The judge isn't going to do anything, because it will jeopardize the retirement funds he'll get from left wingers after he's disbarred.

The issue is, this guy could be a crank. Need to determine who Micheal Anderson is and whether his cousin was on the jury. If any rando could just post something about the jury and get convictions overturned, you'd never convict anybody. Investigation is needed.
That said if this dude does know the juror in any way, this should nuke the convictions from orbit for jury misconduct.

That said if this dude does know the juror in any way, this should nuke the convictions from orbit for jury misconduct. Could be a crank. But it is interesting the judge waited a full week before informing the attorneys. That week would certainly have given law enforcement time to gain some initial indication as to the source and validity of the post. It would also be unlikely that any judge would issue such a statement to attorneys in a high profile case without some basis for doing so. |

Trump has an uphill fight on this matter if he wants to get a mistrial -- and that's before considering the Judge's anti-Trump bias.
