Only two of the eight schools have wone the CWS before. One of those, Virginia, is the first team eliminated. The other, Florida, plays an elimination game this afternoon and thus could be the second team out. If so, we will be guaranteed a first-time champion.

Two elimination games today, FSU vs NC and Florida vs Kentucky. I'm for both Florida schools to go home.

Kentucky vs Florida is delayed. Rescheduled for 10am Wednesday morning. Triple-header in Omaha tomorrow. I've been to the CWS twice. One of the most underrated fan experiences in sports. |

Kentucky vs Florida is delayed. Rescheduled for 10am Wednesday morning. Triple-header in Omaha tomorrow. I've been to the CWS twice. One of the most underrated fan experiences in sports. Florida destroyed Kentucky 15-4. Tennessee is ahead of Florida State by 6-2 in the bottom of the seventh, with Florida and Texas A&M playing at 6:00 pm. Could it be an all SEC championship series match up? |

So it's Tennessee vs. aTm I'm happy, this should be fun. The Aggies have never made the finals and Tennessee has only once, in 1951. Remember Harry Truman?
I think I'll be rooting for the Aggies in this one. Gig 'em!

The Vols even the series so it's down to one game, tomorrow (Monday) night at 6pm. This has been a great CWS. The final promises to be a good one.
