Could you define “gouging” please? That’s what I would like to know too. And how can you prove a corporation is “illegally” price gouging? Does a company have to provide spreadsheets and PowerPoints to prove that they are charging fair prices? Or maybe they should show her some Venn diagrams. We all know she loves Venn diagrams…

Kroger foods has a profit margin of 1.6%.
Apple has a margin of 25%…
But…..sugar wants to go after low margin food companies…….but leaves her buddies over at Apple alone..
But….the negative ramifications of cost controls are widespread…
She is talking to those who really don’t understand that..

Harris has issued a statement today that she will set price controls on things like food. How many stores will she drive out of business? What stores will be next? Can you say Communism? She's out of her teeny tiny mind!

Why does she have to address inflation when she has been claiming for years that”Bidenomics” is working?

Her policy is literally starvation and famine.
But worry not. There will always be plenty of food for her and her cronies.
This idiot must be stopped.

Harris to propose federal ban on ‘corporate price-gouging’ in food and groceries
"Vice President Kamala Harris will propose the first-ever federal ban on “corporate price-gouging” in the food industry, her campaign announced. Harris will also pledge that if elected, she will direct the Justice Department to increase scrutiny of potential mergers between grocers and food producers. The ban is part of a broader effort by the Democratic presidential nominee to respond to voters’ ongoing frustration with the high cost of meat and groceries. "
You think a Republican would ever try that? They're too busy with their culture wars and tax cuts for the wealthy. Republicans suck. Magats suck even worse.
A Republican already did - back in the 1970s. His name was Richard Nixon. It was, as expected, an abject failure. Just once I'd like to see a Democrat politician who not only understood basic economics, but was willing to explain it to their constituents - most of whom couldn't draw and explain a basic supply/demand curve if their lives depended on it. Price controls can only result in shortages and hoarding. I'm sure the next thing Kamala will propose is that the government ban hoarding. A LOT of COVID-19 'warriors' are going to be upset when you try and confiscate their toilet paper hoards.

let's do it....
I think Sugar explaining to workers...many of them union jobs.......that being laid off, or having their benefits reduced is a good thing....
companies will always maintain their margins
and then she can explain to stock holders of various companies why the value of their stocks and 401Ks have crashed....
I think those explanations would be very entertaining..

After all, in the eyes of a Marxist like her, any profit is 'bad' - except for what Big Brother can confiscate through taxes, of course. And don't think she won't try to 'redistribute' 401k balances from the 'haves' to the 'have nots.' Sorry if you didn't save for retirement, but that's YOUR problem, not mine.

Kamala Harris to reveal controversial plan to bring down food prices as her first major policy... and here's what it could mean for YOUKamala Harris wants to take aim at rising food costs and price-gouging as she starts to lay out her own economic priorities and set herself apart from the Biden administration if she win the White House in November. The vice president heads to North Carolina on Friday to deliver her first address focused on the economy policy nearly a month after jumping into the presidential race with President Biden's exit. In one of her first economic proposals as Democratic presidential nominee, Harris plans to call for the first ever federal ban on corporate price-gouging, her campaign said. During her visit to Raleigh, Harris will announce her plan to enact the ban during her first 100 days in office in her effort to address grocery costs as inflation has persisted throughout much of the past four years under the Biden administration. While it is not exactly clear how the proposal would be enforced, the campaign said in its release that the plan would 'set clear rules' so corporations 'can't unfairly exploit consumers.' www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13746879/kamala-harris-economic-plan-food-prices-2024-election.htmlShe's already in office why not now? Hard to get anything passed with a Republican House. After the election things will be more likely to get passed. No argument about the prospect of lower food prices and how that's bad for her?

Soviet style price controls. Get ready to stand in a bread line comrade Or you could just leave your check at the grocery store and take your little bag of groceries home. You fucking imbecile. She's actually talking about lowering everyone's food cost and you want to vilify her for doing something good so you can suck Trump's cock. Brilliant.
