I thought we were not supposed to give advantages because of skin color.🤔 There aren't supposed to be any "advantages" due to sex, either, but we can't even get our own President to follow that one! I long for the days when the most qualified were the ones chosen, whether it be for school, jobs, whatever! This is 2024. What is "suposed to be" has changed since the civil war. You have to change along with it. |

I agree with what you are saying, but progressives eat their own. Asian males are at the bottom of the pecking order (only above Whites), but aren't they technically (or were) called a "minority?" They were clearly discriminated because they weren't the preferred minority in college... Of course, they may be considered "White-Asians" now... |

Let's just make a law that everyone has to hire/admit people on the same level as their percentage of the population. That's what you want, right? Ok. Here we go. 60% of the NBA and NFL would be white. Half of oilfield workers would be women. Half of Hooters servers would be men. 60% of the participants in Miss Black America would be white. Half of construction workers would be women. But wait! What if women don't want to be construction workers and men don't want to be Hooters servers? Well that's too bad for them. In the name of equity, we're going to force them to take those jobs. Personal preferences have no part in the revolution. |
