I just paid $2.86 a gal. for regular. Gas has gone down $0.35 a gallon in the last two weeks here in N.E. Georgia. Just before a presidential election too. Who'd have thought it?

I have noticed in here in MO too. Did old Joe we sell off the rest of our dwindling oil reserves? I missed any news on that.

Speculators are seeing the economy cratering and lowering demand in future.

The summer demand peak is ending. Oil demand in China is down due to their slowing economy. Oil prices have dropped by 10% since July.

Yes and I keep hearing from repugs why isn't it as low as when Trump was in office? Easy answer. We are not in a pendemic where most of the workforce is at home and not using gas. Supply & demand.

Old "Joe" has no more vested interest in lowering the gas prices nor does the president have much to control it. Its all on Supply & demand and where OPEC sets it.

The President can make oil prices go up by his actions or just saying the wrong thing. The Saudi princes the same, let them talk about a cut in production and the price goes up. It's called futures. You liberal crude oil experts always forget or avoid bringing up futures. It hurts your agenda but it is a big part of the price of crude oil. Of course I'll be more than happy to remind you of it.

Is that why they have been cracking down on drilling on public lands? Is that why what is considered the SPR is at decades low levels?

An expert on retardation would know one if he saw one. You missed on both counts.
