The Battlehawks are back and the UFL debuts today as they head to Ford Field in Detroit to take on the USFL runner up Michigan Panthers.
Former New York Giant Wayne Gallman replaces Brian Hill at Running Back. Star receiver Hakeem Butler returns to the team after a brief stint with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Battlehawks go into the game as 6.5 point favorites.
Will be interesting to see how the XFL/USFL matches up. A victory I'm sure would further contribute to a packed out Dome for the home opener next weekend.
