How do you "reform" a human being to not reach for a gun every time they get butt-hurt over some silly thing, since it's the humans doing the pulling of the trigger? You stop the human from getting the gun if they're unstable. We've been over this. it's a uniquely American problem. Eventually enough people will have their lives destroyed over this idiotic policy of guns, guns and more guns. It's only a matter of time. Apparently you didn't read the article, as usual. It was a 4 year old who did the shooting and legally, they are not allowed to have guns. Go troll someone else's thread! |

I think we could come to a middle ground but you gun nuts won't give in to compromise at all. No matter how many innocents die. There are a lot of things that could be done, but that would cut into the weapons manufacturers and NRA' s profits and they won't have that, so they propagandize the 2nd amendment and bastardize it into what they want it to be. Gun's have changed since it was written and so the amendment needs to be amended to show that. Life is much more dangerous now. One nefarious individual can easily kill 50. Something must be done or gun violence will eventually touch everyone. It's sad to think that you all love your gun's so much that you are unwilling to take even the most rudimentary steps to negate the damage. The 2nd amendment guarantees the right to keep and bear arms. It does not say what arms. Therein lies the rub. |

IMO, if anyone is "propagandizing" an amendment, that would be the Democrats but they do their best to just ignore it! |
