There was once a good little subforum at Stltoday called Dress Circle. It only had a modest number of participants but good discussions were to be had. But one poster came along and tried to dominate and, well, you know the rest.

Yes. It disappeared about the same time frame as RamsTalk. Interesting. I don’t recall ever seeing it. I’m rooting hard for Pet Talk and all 3 of its topics. The conversation about declawing cats might just save it… or, turn political; which would doom the very existence of talking about pets. Back on topic, I’ve been listening to more & more classical music, partially because I’ve been stressed to the max, partially because I’m tired of my wife turning on rain sounds to keep our dogs (pet talk rears its relevance twice?) quiet at night. I added “Broken Soul in G-Minor” (performed by?) by Igor Longhi to my Spotify Library. I would like similar songs. Has a very thunderous presence on the piano

I don't listen to much contemporary classical music because so much of it is total crap. I'll give it a listen. I'll let you know when my wife's first album comes out later this year. It will be her second album but first of original compositions. The music is friggin' beautiful.

As far as classical music, yes I like it although I'm no aficionado. I literally have several boxes of classic music CDs from my uncle that I've never unpacked (he's a disabled Korean War vet that had to move into assisted living, forcing him to relinquish some prized possessions). Do you stream any classical radio stations over the air? If so, do you have any suggested links?

When I stream, I go to but WRR in Dallas or KDFC in San Francisco, both outstanding over-the-air stations who stream. On Sirius/XM, I listen to channel 78, Symphony Hall, which plays entire orchestral works. A better station plays shorter pieces or movements, but over the app only, Sirius/XM Pops, channel 745.

Thanks Brummer. I'll check them out.
