So I was reading this article about an LBGTQ+ summer camp in the Washington Post, and it occurred to me that like any summer camp they will be housing horney kids with each other without a lot of supervision. Most summer camps separate the sexes so that male and female campers are not rooming together, but how do you do this with LBGTQ+ kids? How do you keep the little rag muffins from sexually assaulting each other? It also seems like a lawsuit waiting to happen, housing gay adults with same sex children. Campers sleep in yurts or cabins with others of the same age group and choose bunkmates with similar or varied gender identities. Yurts sleep up to 12 campers with 2-4 staff and become a close knit community.www.washingtonpost.com/style/2024/09/05/camp-indigo-point/
