Jennings is the only sane voice on CNN.
Dramatic moment CNN star Scott Jennings slams his own network for taking Trump's remarks out of context
CNN pundit Scott Jennings accused the network of allowing comments by Donald Trump to repeatedly be taken out of context to stoke fear and anger.
The senior political commentator argued CNN has let the Kamala Harris mischaracterize comments by Trump in a way that is 'designed to radicalize' his critics.
The pundit said that Trump's comments that 'there will be a bloodbath' in the economy if he loses the election are an example of how the left has misconstrued his words to stoke fear.
Multiple Trump critics ignored the fact that Trump was talking about a potential economic bloodbath and have claimed he was instead warning of violence erupting on America's streets.
'It is said by every Democrat working for or around [Harris’] campaign every day on this network and every other one,' Jennings said. 'The bloodbath thing is stated every single day.'
CNN's Abby Phillips then stepped in, saying 'Vice President Harris improperly and unfairly mischaracterized that as him saying there would be a bloodbath if he were elected.'
But Phillips added: 'However, she did not say that if Trump were elected, there would be a bloodbath.'
Jennings insisted, saying: 'The "bloodbath" garbage, it is a pillar of the Democratic campaign against Trump, as is "dictator," as is "eliminate the U.S. Constitution."
VP Harris took Trump's comments about a 'bloodbath' out of context during the presidential debate earlier this month.
She said: 'Donald Trump, the candidate, has said in this election there will be a bloodbath if this and the outcome of this election is not to his liking. Let’s turn the page on that.'
