How do I know it’s bullshit? Two reasons. 1. Every jobs number the past three plus years have been overstated, only to be corrected quarters later. 2. It’s an election quarter so of course they will greatly overstate this one. I would bet that the real number is half of this, and almost every one of those “new jobs” were for illegal aliens. www.foxbusiness.com/economy/us-jobs-report-september-2024#&_intcmp=fnhpriver_1

The fact that they came out a couple of months ago and admitted that they overstated jobs by nearly 1 million should be enough to convince anybody that they are lying about these numbers.

You can go to the bank on this: when there is a Democrat in the White House, jobs numbers are always adjusted down later. When there is a Republican in the White House, numbers are generally about right, or adjusted upwards later, particularly in election years. No matter which party is in control, the administrative state works for Democrats.

No matter which party is in control, the administrative state works for Democrats. Can we go to the bank on that though? This argument gets made repeatedly without any evidence to support it being provided. I 'semi-randomly' looked up 3 months of reports from Trump's years (I say 'semi-randomly' because I excluded the Covid year). THE EMPLOYMENT SITUATION — AUGUST 2017 www.bls.gov/news.release/archives/empsit_09012017.pdfThe change in total nonfarm payroll employment for June was revised down from +231,000 to +210,000, and the change for July was revised down from +209,000 to +189,000. With these revisions, employment gains in June and July combined were 41,000 less than previously reported. THE EMPLOYMENT SITUATION — MARCH 2018 www.bls.gov/news.release/archives/empsit_04062018.pdfThe change in total nonfarm payroll employment for January was revised down from +239,000 to +176,000, and the change for February was revised up from +313,000 to +326,000. With these revisions, employment gains in January and February combined were 50,000 less than previously reported. THE EMPLOYMENT SITUATION — AUGUST 2019 www.bls.gov/news.release/archives/empsit_09062019.pdfThe change in total nonfarm payroll employment for June was revised down by 15,000 from +193,000 to +178,000, and the change for July was revised down by 5,000 from +164,000 to +159,000. With these revisions, employment gains in June and July combined were 20,000 less than previously reported. I would love to see the data upon which you are making your claim. Do you have that data? Can you provide me with a link so that I may become less ignorant on the subject?

OK. So I ended up doing some of the work. All numbers I cite are from the following website: www.bls.gov/web/empsit/cesnaicsrev.htm#2018Between January 2017 and December 2020 the final reported jobs numbers were revised downwards 24 times (50%) Between January 2021 and July 2024 (the latest they had on the site), the final reported jobs numbers were revised downwards 21 times (48.8%) So the idea that job numbers are always revised downwards when a Democrat is in office which is somehow different from when a Republican is in office is not supported by the data. Interesting, however, is that if you look at the final revised numbers versus the total jobs initially reported: Between January 2017 and December 2020: +524,000 Between January 2021 and July 2024: -1,168,000

More than was in the private sector.

We already know that all net job gains since 2020 are employment of illegal aliens. I refuse to call them “migrants.” More leftist narrative control bullshit.

I refuse to call them “migrants.” More leftist narrative control bullshit. Immigrant, migrant, who cares? The key word is 'illegal.' The only reason Kamala thinks they're legal is because they regurgitated the phrases they were taught when they arrived at the border to claim asylum. The vast majority are 'economic asylum' seekers, which isn't a valid category or reason to be granted asylum. For the few who do show up to their hearing years in the future, very few will be granted asylum. But since they're already here and have probably dropped a few anchor babies in the meantime, getting them out even after their asylum claim has been denied will be almost impossible. The vast majority won't even bother to show up for their hearings.
