I have seen countless posts on X about a recent bill for more FEMA funding that was shut down by Republicans. Does anyone know the number of that alleged bill? I would like to read it in its entirety to learn what other spending or addendums were included. If it was a FEMA only bill, directed SPECIFICALLY for hurricane disaster relief funds, I do not for one second believe it would have been voted down. There must be additional provisions for supporting the importing and funding of more illegal immigrants or funding for enemies of Israel.

I've seen those same posts with the claims of some bill, but have yet to see any proof of this bill being produced. Here is Newsweek claiming there is a bill but no link to the bill, so that implies there was a reason this bill got no votes. www.newsweek.com/republicans-voted-against-fema-funding-1963980Like you mention I am sure this bill was full of non-FEMA type of dollars. |

Come on uncleb, 3st, et al, give us the full truth of the matter, meaning a link to the bill number or the full text of the bill, so we can read it for ourselves.

There's a parallel here to immigration. The Democrats break something through their own leftist stupidity, propose to "fix it" with some monstrous legislation which mostly contains a grab-bag of printed money for unrelated leftist causes, and when it rightully doesn't pass they blame the Republicans for the problem.
