Kamala, in a hot-air balloon was lost, so she shouted to a man below, "Excuse me. I promised a friend I would meet him, but I don't know where I am."
"You're at 31 degrees, 14.57 minutes north latitude and 100 degrees, 49.09 minutes west longitude," he replied.
"You must be a Republican," she said.
"I am. How did you know?"
"Because everything you told me is technically correct, but the information is useless, and I'm still lost. Frankly, you've been no help."
The man replied, "You must be a democrat?"
"Yes. How did you know?"
"You've risen to where you are due to a lot of hot air, you made a promise you couldn't keep, and you expect me to solve your problem. You're in exactly the same position you were in before we met, but somehow, now it's my fault."

While stitching a cut on the hand of a 75-year-old farmer, whose hand was caught in the squeeze gate while working on cattle, the doctor struck up a conversation with the old man.
Eventually, the topic got around to politicians and their role as our leaders.
The old farmer said, “Well, as I see it, most politicians are “Post Turtles”.
Not being familiar with the term, the doctor asked him what “a post turtle” was.
The old man said, “When you’re driving down a country road and you come across a fence post with a turtle balanced on top, that’s a post turtle”.
The old farmer saw a puzzled look on the doctor’s face so he continued to explain.
“You know he didn’t get up there by himself, he doesn’t belong up there, he’s elevated above his ability to function, and you just wonder what kind of dumb idiot put him up there, to begin with!”.

The Gipper always seemed to have a great joke... I really miss him. There's a reason he was called "The Great Communicator." His debates were legendary.

To me, he was still the best President in my lifetime. The MSM use to attack Reagan (remember Sam Donaldson?) the way they do Trump. Back then, Reagan gave a speech in the oval office, and the entire nation would tune in and listen, by passing the media effort to tell you what they wanted you to hear. A completely different way of life, but I'm glad that the MSM's power to control the message has been brought down.

I'll disagree, no one has ever been attacked the way Trump has been attacked, it's not even close. Sam Donaldson was very tough on Reagan but still respectful, the leftist media has no respect for any Republican, especially Trump, and will say and do anything to denigrate them, there is nothing off limits with today scumbag media. Trump is in a far tougher position than Reagan was. At least Reagan was only fighting commies across the ocean, Trump is fighting them right in our own backyard and in our govt. I love the way Reagan handle the media nd the Democrats at the time but Trump is in a far more combative position. If Trump's able to make a serious dent in the swamp/leftist deep state then he'll be my favorite President of my lifetime.
