She's spot on.

The only people who want every issued decided at the federal level are totalitarian statists. They're the ones who don't believe in federalism. Rather than convincing 50 states to go a particular direction, they want to take the relatively easier route and dictate policy to everyone from Washington, D.C. Let the experiment that is states rights and federalism work, and what truly works will eventually be picked up by all 50 states, and what doesn't will quickly be abandoned. 

I don't give a damn about our supposed 'democracy' - aka 'mob rule.'  It's the Republic that I stand behind.
