This is funny. I enjoyed pointing this out to young LGBTQXYZLMNOP-friendly posters on the internet and routinely told I knew nothing about science (former research physicist), and am a hate-filled nazi (I haven't a single brown stitch of clothing and don't wear boots). I derive a macabre joy out of making young progressives say stupid things.

So she was born with female genitals listed as female on her birth certificate, but has 5-alpha reductase deficiency, a condition affecting sexual development according to the article. So the IOC allowed her to compete, maybe they should not have. Either way she is not transgender, and has nothing at all to do with the United States policy.

Genetic males have no place in women's sports, period.
