The saying "Go woke, go broke" is a good analogy of what the dems are reaping now with Biden's choice of K.Harris as his VP. In 2020, Biden chose a DEI candidate who was not the best choice for the job, but she clicked the right "Go Woke" boxes.
In 2024 when the dems ousted Joe, they had to run K or risk upsetting all the people who loved that he had selected a DEI person for VP. We now see the results of not having the best person on your team. Joe in 2020, or the dems in 2024, could have picked a better qualified candidate and very likely could have beaten Trump yesterday.
Whether it's politics, business, academia, or whatever, selecting a person solely because they click the right DEI boxes is always a bad idea in the long run. It literally makes no sense.
