He failed his mission to get a conviction.
I REALLY hope there is a way to continue the appeal from the FL case so we can get this special council shit settled once and for all

Merchan, the NY partisan Judge is supposed to decide this upcoming week on whether to throw the case out. And the NY SC is still pondering the same, as well as sanctions against the fraudsters who brought the case.
That leaves Fani and the GA case. There are a few options there as well. Fani could be ruled ineligible to prosecute it due to misconduct; no other DA in the state would bring the case. Or the case could be dismissed by a higher court for any number of reasons.
Either way; the lawfare waged against President Trump will result in 0 convictions and millions of dollars wasted.
But there MUST be repercussions for those involved in this lawfare.

I suspect the Jack Smith book is his next money-making venture, once he is canned from his cushy job.

This is Merchan's opportunity to end this case while still retaining a modicum of respect. But the appeal at the NY SC needs to continue for the simple fact that heads need to roll. Serious legal analysts expect them to throw the case out for various legal reasons, so let's allow them to do so and set the record straight. Trump's civil judgement to that crazy woman who falsely accused him of rape also needs to continue on appeal. I'd LOVE to see her have to pay back every penny she got PLUS interest. She's been bragging about how she's spending it, so I doubt she will be able to pay it back.

so it really was political. Of course it was. No it was not, crooked Donald many crimes but he was able to delay the cases and the Trump DOJ will of course immediately dismiss the cases so no reason for them to continue.

Still the partisan hack even when the courts see the malfeasance of these "civil" servants. Why am I not surprised? This is going on NOW. Trump won't be in office for another 2 months. Good grief you are brainwashed.

Smith, being the pussy that he is, has stated that he will quit before he allows Trump to fire him! Now that's a man's man!

I hope they continue the appeal to get a decision on special counsils once and for all.
If the current regime drops the appeal, are they not admitting Judge Cannon is correct and Smith and all other Special Counsils were unConstitutional?

If the current regime drops the appeal, are they not admitting Judge Cannon is correct and Smith and all other Special Counsils were unConstitutional? No, what they will assert that since Trump will be the new President, DOJ policy will not let them continue to persecute President Trump. Hence, they'll note the persecutions are being dismissed so the appeal is moot. They will try to avoid having the appellate court rule, which would set precedent.

Smith asked that his appeal to the 11th be put on hold while the government plots to extract him from this mess.
