Florida plays #5 Texas at 11:00 AM on ABC. Texas is a 21 ½ point favorite.

Purdue plays #2 Ohio State at 11:00 AM on Fox. Ohio State is a 38 point favorite.

#4 Miami plays Georgia Tech at 11:00 AM on ESPN. Miami is a 11 point favorite.

#3 Georgia plays #16 Ole Miss at 2:30 PM on ABC. Georgia is a 2 ½ point favorite.

Michigan plays #8 Indiana at 2:30 PM on CBS. Indiana is a 14 ½ point favorite.

#17 Iowa State plays Kansas at 2:30 PM on FS1. Iowa State is a 2 ½ point favorite.

#23 Clemson plays Virginia Tech at 2:30 PM on ESPN. Clemson is a 6 ½ point favorite.

Two upsets so far. Miami, who seemed overrated at #4, lost to Georgia Tech. It will be interesting to see how far they drop.

Lane Kiffin & Ole Miss smacked down the Georgia Dawgs. The SEC has been unbelievable this year without a single dominant team. It will still be interesting to see who ends up the SEC champ.

Next weekend's Tennessee v Georgia game is going to have a big impact on the playoffs. Texas, Tennessee, Georgia, and 'Bama are all in the hunt with the Aggies & Ole Miss having a shot. A&M plays Texas to end the season.

Of the 12 teams, the champions of each "Power 4" divisions (ACC, Big 10, Big 12, SEC) get the first 4 slots followed by the top of the "Group of 5" winner. That leaves 7 teams competing for the remaining slots. Does anyone know if "independent" Notre Dame will be considered as that slot or if it goes to a team like Boise State?

I do not believe ND is considered in G5. They've always been treated differently.
