Arizona was officially called for Trump tonight. He wins all seven swing states. He is leading the popular vote by about 4 million. The GOP is five seats away from having a majority in the House. They already won the Senate.
The American people have spoken.

They think it was a Biden/Harris problem, but is isn't. They contributed, of course, but the issue is much more fundamental. The Democratic party has drifted toward a far left ideology that is well outside the viewpoint of mainstream America. It's that simple. If they don't move back toward the center, they won't win nationally again.

Looks a little odd next to the 2012, 2016, and 2024 elections, eh? Safest election in history, Nano! This has nothing to do with my post. Not odd at all. It was backlash against Trump plain and simple. You're one of the dopes who said there were like 14M illegal ballots but dopey apparently couldn't find any of them lmfao.

I think a lot of East Coast Democrats are truly uncomfortable with the state of party values being stretched to such extreme levels. Just look at what happened over the last 4 years. - Defund the Police lead to a non-policed, “autonomous zone” in Seattle; which was a TOTAL SHIT SHOW. I don’t think you’d ever see something like that gain popularity in NYC - Oregon made every drug recreationally legal. This was such a bad idea that it became the face of the Fentanyl crisis and they had to pass sweeping legislation to walk it back. - California walked back punishments for crime, which lead to rampant theft and “justice looting.” They voted in 2024 to make shoplifting & drug offenses a felony - Colorado, California, Portland, Washington are struggling w/homelessness and homeless encampments. Colorado was hit with an influx of migration and their infrastructure couldn’t handle it; which sent the cost of living skyrocketing, and California’s stance on immigration has especially lead to their housing crisis, homelessness, and rising costs of living. Their politics have been defining the Democratic policies for more than a decade. Those values really don’t jive w/the NE mindset. Frankly, I’m shocked they talk at all.

The democratic party has drifted toward a far left ideology that is well outside the viewpoint of mainstream America. you're not wrong, but they wont listen. The party powers know whats best for the party, its not their fault the voters are too stupid to see it. If they don't move back toward the center, they won't win nationally again. I've heard that song before. It gets played, in some form, after every election. Yet the pendulum will swing. the commie dems will temper their message so as not appear so bat shit crazy and will win again, then immediately go bat shit crazy. For Rep's, I see it as promising to get <thing> done if elected. Then they ignore <thing>, lose election and then begin campaigning on fixing <thing>

I do love how it's racist, sexist, misogynist and every other - ist you can think of as the reason Harris lost when the fact of the matter is she ran a shit campaign. I'm beginning to wonder if she wasn't set up to lose for whatever reason

Exactly and Harris's historical (i.e., real) political views over the years have been an embodiment of the west coast progressivism the vast majority of the country rejects. And where she failed in her campaign was expressing her actual political views. There were video after video after video of her voicing radical views. And when asked about them, she tried to act like didn’t hold those views anymore (although she never did that very clearly) and really all she said definitively was, “My values haven’t changed”. That told most people that she still did indeed hold those radical views.
