apparently, there is infighting in the Senate on choosing a new leader.
The Turtle wants one of his acolytes to succeed him, John Cornyn or John Thune.
The "outside" is Rick Scott.
President Trump has weighed in; while not naming anyone, he wants someone who will put the Senate in recess so he can use Recess appointments.
I dont like either of the John's, or Rick.
Historically, the VP has served as majority leader. and it would give JD something to do.

JD Vance could serve as Majority Leader why serving as the VP.
McConnell did this to screw trump. Thune or Coryn are Rino trash and should not be anywhere near leadership.

The question now is how much this pick holds Trump back. Trump has said that he wanted someone picked to lead the Senate that would support recess appointments. Will this legacy McConnel pick allow Trump to get on with business? I think that Thune is a part of the swamp and will not work with Trump.
