www.oddthingsiveseen.com/2014/10/home-of-arch-fiend-st-louis-vincent.htmlOne of my favorite Vincent Price movies was not even a horror movie, it was called The Baron of Arizona. It was based on a true character named James Addison Reavis. He was a St. Louis realtor, forger, swindler who almost ended up owning a big chunk of Arizona. Price played him in the movie. It's on YouTube, check it out when you get the chance. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_ReavisOne time I rented a DVD that had Vincent Price in a movie and they had a bunch of tidbits on the all the actors in it on the inside of the cover. They said that Vincent Price had a huge painting collection and that he remembered his very first painting he got. He said he had to steal money from a church collection box to buy it. Another tidbit said that when he played the villain Egghead in the old Batman series, there was a scene in a room that was filled with thousands of eggs and Price began throwing them at everybody. Soon a huge egg fight started and after about 10 minutes the director asked if they were ready to quit and continue with the scene. Price replied, " No way, not with this arsenal " and the egg throwing continued for another 10 minutes.

My favorite old horror movie actor. Everyone, I'm sure, knows he did the narration in Michael Jackson's Thriller. I'll check out youtube tomorrow. Too late to try to watch it tonight.
