Hell yes. Despite so many things that don’t need a sequel these days, I think this lends itself well to one. And adding in Jenna Ortega is perfect.

No sequel, please. The performances of Michael Keaton and Catherine O'Hara were classic and I can only visualize a sequel as a CGI junior high-fest.

Let's hope they focused on making a good movie instead of a "woke" movie...

Given the director, Burton, and performers, Keaton, O'Hara and Ryder I'm sure they will all be cognizant of any hint of racial prejudice or discrimination and will avoid it at all cost. As Lead Belly sang back on 1938 regarding traveling through Alabama, "Stay woke there".

This, Roadhouse and Happy Gilmore all either being remade or having sequels made. Why? Is Tim Burton really out of ideas, or broke? Roadhouse was a great campy cheesy flick from the late 80s/90s with a great cast. Does it really need a Gyllanhall and a creepy UFC fighter to update it? Happy Gilmore 2? I guess Sandlers kids are at that awkward age between their Bat Mitzvah's and weddings where there just isn't a lot of nepo material to make films? "My kid gets her driving permit" "Three boys ask little Sally Sandler to prom" I guess they aren't selling points for the netflix execs who gave him the 100 billion to make stupid movies. Happy Gilmore 2. Good grief. What gameshow host is he going to beat up this time? Regis and Barker are dead, so is Trebek. If it wasn't so politically incorrect I'd vote for Mayim Bialik just because she is so bad at Jeopardy but we can't have Sandler beating up Amy Farrah Fowler. Pat Sajak? Steve Harvey. This is going to require many meetings.
