Florida State was who got the shaft no matter injuries or what. I agree, but the way their players took their marbles and went home was an embarrassment for them. NIL has created many issues, but if the players are going to get paid to play (besides the free education), NIL payments should be link partially to their actually playing in a bowl game (if the team wins 6 games).

Never in my life would I think that I'd pull for The Seminoles but then they got Coach Norvell. He was at Memphis before and the whole city loved him. I lived there at the time. I'd pull for him even if he wound up at Ohio State. He's a great coach.

Florida State was who got the shaft no matter injuries or what. Disagree. They got absolutely flogged with a legit game Bowl Game against Georgia.

Florida State almost had to play the cheerleaders though. I thought Norvell was going to have a stroke but I knew Alabama was going to play in the championship series. If the Seminole starters had played it would have been a much closer game but this is what college football is coming to.

It pussed me off when coaches would ditch their players & university while still under contract. However, at least players still loved the sports. I’m not so sure about that anymore. Players are far more focused on potential NIL deals than scheme, play calling, or chances to win a title. Universities are playing load management games. Major & Minor BB programs are turning down the NIT. College Football players are transferring before Bowl Games.

The college football landscape is changing fast.
I have trouble comprehending the changes that is going on. Yes, even coaches and assistant coaches are jumping ship for more money and prestige.
Hopefully, Mizzou hangs on to Eli. He seem to be forward thinking and still young. Do not know what was going on with the AD, Francois. We will know soon enough. Perhaps after a new AD is hired.
Good day!
