Remember, society had diagnosed them as officially mentally ill until the 1970s drugs, legal and other If you look at the many school shootings by "kids" since Columbine, almost all of the shooters have been taking strong drugs for years to "treat" ADHD and other illnesses. When you and I were kids, those drugs weren't given to kids, and yet we didn't have schools shootings. Kids use to go hunting in the morning and leave their rifle in the trunk of their car at high school. Big Pharma is making big bucks off of drugging kids, yet were are the studies on the safety of those drugs on developing minds? |

An AR-15 is not the kind of "gift" a reasonable father gives to his son without locking it down out of the kid's access unless going to the range or hunting(and I do not mean hunting classmates). |

I am sure they are Democrats that own AR-15, I just have never met one. it appears he had some form of alphabit mental illness, to what degree isnt entirely clear yet, and will likely be suppressed. it will be interesting to find out if/what SSRI or other drugs he was on. |

My kid has an AR-15 in his room right now. He is 14. He also has a fully loaded magazine for that AR-15 in his room. And he knows where it is. (I have the Glock, he has the AR. And he is a way better shot than I am!) Now if my son had some sort of problems where I would/should have concerns, he wouldn't have it. Obviously. But I don't have any concerns with him having it. And obviously if he EVER put that fully loaded magazine into it to 'play' with it, he wouldn't have it anymore. Question for the forum: Should I remove the AR-15 from my son? |
