I dont think he wrote the jokes for this, I remember the dinner in 16 he seemed kind of shocked by the jokes as he was reading them. Maybe he has some input or creative control, but I think the jokes are written by comedians.
That being said,he delivers in his unique style and whit.
Its clear why Sidepiece skipped it, she simply does not have the ability to deliver a comedy speech like that.

While Trump's presentation was somewhat rambling, it had some MAJOR highlights. The line about "White men for Harris" group was a classic. The Harris receiving communion from Whitmer was also a classic. Personally, I cracked up when he said that he was speaking to a room that was 50% for him and 50% against him. Being the narcissist that he is, he immediately changed that to 75% for him. LOL

To Trump’s credit, he showed up, and to Harris’ discredit, she didn’t. But, good grief, Trump stumbled through those tasteless quips like a ninth grade dropout. Too many hours out on the links in the hot sun. His brain is cooked.

I don’t think Trump (or Harris) is particularly bright, but he should possess enough judgment to realize that some jokes are beyond the pale even for a “roast”. I only saw a snippet of the Harris video. It’s very possible it was inappropriate as well. I do believe she deserves criticism for not attending. Trump’s delivery, language and much of his material was simply atrocious, but that’s Trump. |

Well, maybe he should have but he did 6 or 7 interviews that day and did an interview with Tyrus minutes before entering this event. That morning, he did a presentation in a barbershop in the Bronx. He isn't reading teleprompters with the same speech over and over like Harris is. |
