NeoCon Nikki and Mike Pompeo won't be part of the next Administration. No surprise or remorse on Nikki, although Pompeo seemed to have done a good job plus seemed to be loyal to Trump.  |

As Vance will be a candidate in 28…..and it’s likely/possible Nikki and pompeo will run….it avoids any possible
conflicting priorities in the cabinet

Not sure this is a cabinet position, but certainly a great pick for running border operations I don't like the "Czar" title (Obama was the first to came up with), but Homan is the right man for the job. Homan's job has a lot of benefits: - No Senate confirmation (he's an advisor to the President)
- Will oversea not just ICE, but Justice and State Department actions to support deportation.
- Proven ability to secure the border
Like you, I'm not a fan of removing a member from Congress, especially with such a small lead. Her district is Republican, so odds are her replacement will be a Republican. There will be a special election to replace her, so the odds are good she'll be replaced by a Republican. It's also a reward for her loyalty to Trump during the Pelosi witch hunts and impeachments. |
