The hits just keep on coming! Matt Gaetz to be Attorney General! wow, thats a hard core pick. Clearly meant to send a very loud, very clear message to those who have weaponized the DoJ; RUN

Trump clown show stating. Jumping in the clown car are:
Some crazy Fox News commentator for Secretary of Defense.
Russia’s favorite politician Tulsi Gabbard for Director of Intelligence
And now the biggest clown in Washington Matt Gaetz who even most Republicans hate. My son-in-law texting me that one, and I thought it was a joke.

Tulsi Gabbard is the next Director of National Intelligence, with the CIA and all of the intelligence agencies reporting to her. Another great move against the Deep State -- and likely confirmation that Trump is going to keep his promise on declassification of the JFK assassination (Finally!) and other records. a few weeks ago, the "intel community" put her on a TSA watch list. Soon she will be their boss

The hits just keep on coming! Matt Gaetz to be Attorney General! Trump is just fucking with everyone on that nomination. Matt Gaetz for AG, is equivalent to John "Bluto" Blutarsky. The only difference John is more likeable. Gaetz has spent years investigating DoJ corruption, and has been a target of such corruption. Bet some information he's learned in his investigations will result in some uncomfortable times for those who improperly waged lawfare.

To be clear: I’m in the camp that the DOJ is corrupted and needs a clean up; especially at the senior levels of the FBI.
But Matt Gaetz is not the answer.
At best the guy is a loose cannon. At worst, his personal behavior if not illegal, is certainly not, IMO, beyond reproach.
The only way I can make sense of this that Trump empathizes with him for what he considers legal witch hunts against him and his role in getting Mike Johnson elected Speaker.
But the guys has way too much baggage for the job and has little to no chance to be confirmed.
I knew Trump would have his missteps. I hope he corrects quickly from this one. He won’t be the first POTUS to have to move on from a nominee and still succeed as POTUS.
PS - I’m certain I would have liked Harris AG nominee even less.

Oh, and he moon lights as a FNC host. Tulsi is clearly not "Russia's favorite politician"; thats either Obama, Biden, Sidepiece or Nuland who allowed him to take parts of Ukraine. Gaetz going to AG then is a win for everyone; except the corrupt bureaucrats in Justice who counted on "business as usual".

This has to be some kind of sick joke. A commentator on FOX said Gaetz reminded her of the toddler at family barbecues who sat in the corner eating toilet paper and stuffing Cheerios up his nose. Trey Gowdy was aghast.

He needs an outsider and an absolutist in Justice. The place needs series deep reform, not just trimming around the edges, complete reform. Is there another candidate for AG who has done as much investigation into justice corruption? Is there antoher AG candidate who was subject to a corrupt justice investigation?

Remember when Chuckie Schumer said, “Let me tell you: You take on the intelligence community — they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you”? The Deep State is going to either get purged or fight to the death, and my money is on President Trump.

Here is an example: www.rt.com/news/595405-gabbard-biden-destroy-russia/Billy, I cannot even believe you support Matt Gaetz for AG. Are you serious? He will not be confirmed not sure about the other two.

After the Afghanistan evacuation debacle? After terrorists (houthis) essentially control the Red Sea? After the infestation of DEI/CRT at all levels? Tulsi is a regular figure quoted on rt.com (formerly Russia Today), they love her. Here is an example: and? rt had a hard on for democrats in the past. She's matured Billy, I cannot even believe you support Matt Gaetz for AG. Are you serious? He will not be confirmed not sure about the other two. Why not? Is he a go along to get along douche like millions of DC insiders? NOPE. Justice needs the corruption and politicization rooted out from top to bottom, and an insider aint gonna do it.

He will not be confirmed not sure about the other two. I find it interesting that you believe that Hegseth does not have any leadership background. He has been a commanding officer in the military for approximately 20 years. He went to Iraq and Afghanistan. He was awarded 2 Bronze Stars. He worked with the CIA. Are you aware that there have been many Defense Secretaries that have never served? Of those, many worked with the CIA. Tulsi Gabbard is a combat veteran and a former Lieutenant Colonel in the Army Reserve. Gabbard has been vocal about the US throwing money at the Ukrainian War without holding Ukraine’s government accountable for its corruption. Perhaps that is why Russians seem to like her. She has also personally gone to countries in the Middle East to see first hand what is happening in that region. I don't like the Gaetz appointment. This is personal in that I don't trust him. It isn't like I trust politicians in general but he rubs me the wrong way. I think that if he gets the position, he will be out in less than one year. IMO for him, everything is about him. (I've asked before but why does Grammarly not work on this site?)

Surely there are several reform-minded people with solid backgrounds in law enforcement from outside DC. Gaetz is just a hand-grenade tossed into a cocktail party. And again, I see zero chance that he gets confirmed. I could be wrong. It wouldn't be the first time I've been wrong about subjects related to Trump.
